The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri: women building better communities.
Our behind-the-scenes look at Holiday Mart for Prospective Members had a great turnout in October. Everyone loves Holiday Mart, and a backstage look is pretty impressive. It’s crazy what volunteers can do when they work together!
The next special event for Prospective Members is quickly approaching. Mark your calendar for:
Junior League at Work in the Community
When: Monday, November 16th at 6:30 pm
Where: Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI), 3101 Main Street, Kansas City, MO
Prospective Members will learn more about our long and proud history with both Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI) and the Children’s Therapeutic Learning Center (CTLC). The evening will give Prospective Members a chance to interact with JLKCMO Actives and Sustainers and learn more about our community partnerships. We’re committed to promoting voluntarism and improving our community, and the League’s work with CCVI and CTLC are excellent examples to share with Prospective Members.
If you are a JLKCMO Member or Sustainer, be sure to pass this along to anyone who may be interested! More information is always available on the JLKCMO website.
