A Preview of Take 5.
Ashley Graber, marketing chair for Take Five, and I were talking recently about all the excitement building for Take Five on Friday, March 6. She sent over some details so I could share with the League Pulse readers to make sure you get your tickets before they sell out!
Take Five, the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri’s newest fundraiser is a fun cocktail party featuring a $5,000 Cash giveaway. Take Five has quickly grown from our inaugural party in 2012. In 2014 we welcomed 250 guests and raised over $15,000.
This year our event will be held at Hotel Sorella on the Country Club Plaza. Hotel Sorella is going all out to support the event. Not only are they providing the space for the event but also providing all of the food and dessert included in your ticket price! Free valet parking is being offered by Hotel Sorella, and there will be free beer and wine all night long. I’m super excited to have an excuse that supports a good cause to check out this lovely venue.
The entertainment for the evening will feature Lost Wax, literally my favorite party band in Kansas City. They have a funky collection of four decades of pop, rock, hip hop and R&B for dancing all night long.
You can also get a fabulous deal by purchasing the Take Five VIP Hotel Package for $299 which includes the following: 2 VIP Tickets to Take Five, 2 VIP Gift Bags and 1 Night Stay on the night of the event at Hotel Sorella. There is only a limited number of these packages available so don’t wait to purchase your tickets! The Take Five VIP Package for $100 includes a ticket for 1 for the event and admission to the VIP party from 7-8pm. The VIP party attendees will be leaving with a swag bag full of goodies from local shops. Take Five Single Admission tickets are available for $60 which includes 1 ticket to the event from 8-11 pm. The feature of the Take Five event is the Enter-to-Win $5,000 cash prize. There will also be fabulous raffle prizes at the event, with something that appeals to everyone. Please continue to check our Facebook page to see surprise updates on the raffle prizes. Drawing for the prize packs will be on the day of the event. There is no limit on the number of tickets purchased so purchase as many as you need! You must be present to win the raffle prizes.
