Nottingham Forest is pleased to announce the addition of three players to its Academy. Putting pen to paper on deals ahead of the 2023/24 season are Manni Norkett, Harry Griffiths and Will Brooks. Norkett, 18, was born in Nottingham and is a former Forest academy graduate who joins from Manchester United. The striker scored nine goals in 14 U18 Premier League appearances for United last season and also made three appearances for the U21s in their Premier League 2 Division 1 campaign. Griffiths is an 18-year-old goalkeeper who arrives from AFC Wimbledon. The shot-stopper was named on the bench for the League Two side on five occasions last season, having spent the past couple of years at Plough Lane. Adding further competition to the goalkeeping department is Will Brook, who joins Forest at the end of his contract with Leeds United. The 19-year-old spent a number of years at Elland Road and was part of Leeds' U21s squad which won promotion to Premier League 2 Division 1 last season. The trio arrive on Trentside as Forest U21s look to build on a positive 2022/23 campaign which saw them reach the Premier League 2 Division 2 play-off final. Nottingham Forest's Assistant Academy Manager, Chris McGuane, said: “We are delighted to welcome Harry, Manni and Will to the club at such an exciting time.  "Each of them bring their own qualities and experience which we hope to add to an already very strong group as we continue to look to significantly enhance our academy provision. "Together with the first team we hope to create new opportunities for players of the highest potential and look forward to bringing the boys on that journey as we view them as exciting prospects for the future."
